What does OEKO-TEX® stands for?
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It is a worldwide consistent, independent testing and certification system for textile products.
Tests are conducted by independent OEKO-TEX® test institutes. Every component of a product must comply with the strict OEKO-TEX® test criteria. When our floor coverings receive the OEKO-TEX ® certificate, the article has been certified to be harmless for human health.
Certified products are free from harmful chemicals and meet human ecological requirements. Therefor we could say that Oeko-Tex 100 is partly an environmental label. The final product must not contain residues of pesticides or heavy metals. Criteria have been included for colour fastness and resistance to washing.
You can find OEKO-TEX® certification for our Children Rage in Home Decor. Our qualities in children's mats are kids-approved and therefore safe for children.
